How much does a close up magician cost?

How much does a close up magician cost

One of the most asked questions I get is how much does a close up magician cost?

This is a really difficult question to answer as there are many factors that affect the cost of magical entertainment

For a start as with most professions not all close up magicians charge the same.

Depending on the type of event you are looking to use a close up magician for costs can vary dramatically

Are you looking for a close up magician for

Close Up Magician

Each of these will come at a different cost depending on which magician you use and the time you are looking to book a close up magician for.

The one thing that all working magicians tell you is do not just book your entertainment on price alone. As with many things you do actually get what you pay for!

Close up magic is one of the best forms of entertainment you can choose to have at an event if it is done well by a competent professional

I guess you may be looking to book a close up magician as you want guests or clients to remember your event in the most positive and fun way.

Would you book the cheapest singer?

Some magicians can charge thousands of pounds for their performances but most people cannot afford that

In general I know Close up magicians that will charge from 300.00 for a couple of hours and then increase their fee upwardly if you want them to stay longer

Magicians will charge more for specialised services such as after dinner cabaret or Trade show magic.

Some events require magic to be themed to a product or company message which again would increase cost due to time spent preparing

The cost of Wedding Magic seems to be one of the most variable costs I come across but this can be due to the fact that many amateur (none full time)

magicians tend to sell themselves into this market at a lower cost.

I do know some amazing part time magicians but the good ones also know their value and charge accordingly

So

How much does a close up magician cost?

I would suggest this is a bit of an open ended question like how much does a singer cost.

As a guide I would say beware the 100.00 magician!!!!!!

Unless it is for a very good reason full time professional magicians that will enhance your event will not be in that price bracket

For the record so you do not feel cheated by this blog I can say that personally my fees start at around the 350.00-375.00 mark for two hours of close up magic
