Event Magicians

I am often asked for multiple event magicians when clients are booking larger celebration parties. As a rule of thumb I normally would recommend you look at more than one magician if budget allows when you are getting to about 120 guests In simple terms one magician per one hundred guests is an ideal. There is normally a fin-height amount of time a close up magician can perform when at an event. This could be performing reception magic and table magic throughout dinner. It is very frustrating as a performer if you try your best to get around...

Wedding Reception Magician

Using a wedding reception magician on your special day will truly enhance the wedding day experience for your guests I am so lucky to have attended literally hundreds of weddings over the last ten years as a wedding reception magician. Comedy Magician

It is always added pressure when billed as a Comedy Magician as apposed to being booked as Close up / Cabaret magician and then people finding you funny. The obvious difference is when you are booked as a comedy magician you are expected to be funny and perform great magic. I consider all my magic to be entertaining and strong no matter how I am perceived but the comedy magician element is something I have considered in many ways over the years. If you are funny first and magician second does this weaken the magic? If you study magic theory the...

Creating Magic

Creating magic moments within a performance is the objective of every magician but how do magicians go about this process to ensure you the spectator are left amazed believing you have witnessed the impossible, leaving you with a sense of awe and wonder. As a working magician my interaction with an audience is one of the things I give most thought to when working on routines and effects to perform. If the spectator/audience are not engaged fully then the chance of creating a feeling of real magic within them is near impossible. This means that...
